Meeting called to order at 9:08 a.m Attendance: Spencer Edwards, Jerry McCullough, Carole Edwards, Bob Overstreet, Mickey Sexton, Ronnie Matthews, Kim Gransden, Dan Therrien, Glenn McInvale, Bob Glasscock, Tim Brown, Bob Luman, Vaughan Johnson. Election of officers: Bob Overstreet nominated current officers to resume their post and the motion carried. Spencer Edwards will continue as president, Tom Brown as vice president, and Jerry McCullough as secretary/treasurer. Financial Report: 2cd's - $1,000 and $1,045 -- Savings - $2.99, Checking - $1,920.59 ARES ID: Spencer explained that ARES ID cards are being prepared for those who complete the FEMA ICS 100 and 700 Courses. Those who have completed the course need to give Carole Edwards (Lowndes County EC) or Chuck Stouse (Butler County EC) a copy of their certification certificate and their photo. Bob Luman explained that the courses cover the basics of who does what during an emergency situation. Although not required yet, it was recommended that members also take the ICS 200 and 800 courses. New Net: The Monday Night Net is being changed in an effort to increase attendance. The new Net, on a test basis, will be once a month at 8:30 a.m on the Sunday following the monthly meeting.
