Fort Deposit Circus huge success

About 500 people turned out to enjoy Friday's circus in Fort Deposit which raised a few hundred dollars for the library. Elephant and pony rides were enjoyed by many before the show. Once the show began, the audience was entertained with everything from trained elephants, dogs and ponies, to juggling and high wire acts. "I'd like to thank the town of Fort Deposit, the chamber of commerce,  the Arts Council and the Lowndes County school system for providing the opportunity and support to help make this event possible," said Dan Therrien, Fort Deposit library board president.
